I was born in Buffalo with a hole right through my heart
I never had a chance, I was doomed right from the start
although I struggle every day, all I want is peace
But I can not escape my fate, I am wanted by the beast

He took away my parents and filled me up with booze
Tossed me out into the cold, and left me with no shoes

I picked myself up off the ground, and headed straight out of town
Made my way to New York City, and left my past behind
At first I did very well, but that city is on the road to hell
I knew that I was running out of time

So once again I went away, I ran for 6 years 6 months and 6 days
ended up in the biggest little city in the world
